Well, I thought I could speak to you civilly, Walter, but after 
your last few posts, I doubt you are well enough to have any 
kind of conversation with anyone, unfortunately.

Before these last posts, I kinda sorta understood Walter's 
previous posts after he explained them.  From what I gathered, 
he was saying that he was using a type of reverse psychology on 
a lot of people who post hateful messages to Arabs/Muslims by 
reversing the direction of attack onto Americans.  (Walter is 
American, by the way, born and bred, and is most assuredly NOT 
the same person as U.K. Voices -- if I'm wrong about that and he 
*is* the same person, I'd bet my life that he's more insanely 
dangerous than Hannibal Lechter.)  It seemed that Walter was 
trying to make a point, and that point was misinterpreted and 
then backfired.

Walter is young, I know that much, and he also has an inflated 
amount of intelligence for his age.  U.K. Citizen was right when 
he said that intelligence and wisdom were two separate things, 
that they could be mutually exclusive traits.  Wisdom is more a 
function of age and maturity, and intelligence is a function of 
genetic luck - neural activity plus information retention.  A 
lack of wisdom shows when someone who is intelligent believes 
himself (or herself) to be better than others based on what they 
know, rather than how they behave.

Walter has never been out of the west.  He probably has never 
been out of the country, but even if so, I know that he has 
never been to the middle east.  Walter, your obvious disdain for 
the U.S. reveals your lack of maturity and experience. (That was 
not an insult, by the way; it's a matter of fact with younger 
people.)  You are talking the rhetoric of Jerry Springer guests 
and backward, closed-minded mentality, opinions of others 
unsubstantiated by reason and knowledge and experience of ages.  
I don't know how you really feel about what's going on in the

I agree that Walter appears to have the same mindset as 
UKVoiceless, but I'm talking about some speech patterns and 
cultural nuances I noticed that were different between the two 
identities.  That's why I stated that if they were indeed the 
same person, he'd be a dangerous wacko.  Someone who can pretend 
using very subtle techniques like that is a frightening idea.  I 
don't think they are the same person, though.  I think that UKV 
was slightly older, kind of a snob, and used charged language 
not so much to incite anger as to make himself feel superior... 
he is from a superior class, a superior country, and a superior 
government, he'd like to have us believe.

Our own Walter, on the other hand, is definitely younger (I 
could even believe he's 17 or 18), has never been married nor 
has children of his own, is either a middle child, a youngest 
child without siblings very close in age to him, or an only 
child.  I would put my money on him being a middle child, 
though.  He likes to feel mentally superior -- something more 
typical of his age, probably around 20, plus or minus 3 years -- 
and loves using the internet to feed his hunger for rebellion.  
He looks for government conspiracies so he can help crack the 
codes and prove their existence; he feels power in weapons; he 
has no tolerance for lower class poor people or upper class rich

This, of course, is my opinion.  I could be totally wrong, but I

I am trying to get more medication, honest.  I can't control my 
split personalities and I fear I am hurting innocent people.  I 
know I can only say I'm sorry so many times but please believe

Ashraf, why don't you try something that seems to work for some 
people.  Instead of saying, "I hate Palestinian-Killing,

and rape" or "Alfred is evil for wanting to hurt my neighbors" 
or "Floyd should be shot for raping that girl" or something 
along those lines.  That way you don't include an entire group 
in your anger, because most groups are comprised of varying 
individuals, from sicko monsters to caring, decent individuals.  
This could abate some of your anger and bias.

I have red hair.  If someone said, "All redheads should die 
because they are murderers and rapists" because of bad 
experiences they might have had with redheads, I would be upset 
and defend everyone with red hair.  So would my friends.  It's 
the same thing when someone gets up and says "All Muslims are 
dirty dogs and should be blown to bits because they are all baby 
killers and torturers of innocent people."  I can't stand that 
mentality, and I stand up against such generalizations.  Would 
you like to be included in that group, just because bin Laden 
and the Taliban are Muslims and have committed such horrific 
acts?  I don't think you are a murderer or a rapist, though I 
don't know you.  I don't believe all Muslims are like bin Laden 
or the Taliban.  That is why I don't hate an entire group.  I 
know Jews who are fantastic, wonderful, giving people, and I 
know Muslims who are the same.

Will you concede that some of the edge and stress and hate may 
be removed from your heart if you try this?  Will you try it?

U.K. Citizen, I noticed the same thing you did with UKV's post 
(defence vs. defense).  I also noticed the reverse with at least 
one of Walter's posts.  I understand why you feel the possiblity 
exists that they are the same person.  I have American friends 
who spend a lot of time on the internet with European friends, 
and often pick up some of their English spelling or even 
phrasing.  However, my reason for not believing that they are 
the same person have more to do with the personality flavors 
that are different from a psychological point of view.  I'm not 
a psychologist, but I was studying it in college years ago and 
it's something I'm very interested in.  It's a little hobby of 
mine to study people and make characterizations of their 
personalities.  I'm not always right by any means, but sometimes 
common sense and my experience with it gives me a slight edge.

My opinion is if someone has the slyness to be able to slip in a 
subtle misspelling like that to confuse others, he/she really is 
a diabolical and maniacal individual, and with such intelligence 
has the capacity to be very dangerous with a mental illness to 
boot.  I do not want them to be the same person; I want to give 
Walter the benefit of the doubt as to his explanation for his 
behavior (as unsettling as it was), and I want to believe UKV is 
a pompous, ignorant ass who feels he is above all Americans and 
his attitude is vastly slanted in that direction.  It speaks of 
his age as well, though the difference is that I believe UKV is 
older, probably in his late 40s or early 50s, and has a very 
large stick up his rear that he refuses to remove.  He will not 
come down off his high horse to mingle with the little Americans 
and get to know us as human beings.

There has has been a collective hate (Muslim hatred of Jews) 
long before the recent (what we and the Jews define as) 
defensive and retaliatory strikes.  When this pure hatred for 
Jews permiates a society, or in this case an entire culture, 
absolutely NO compromise is possible.  It is quite unfortunate 
that the call for hate driven by the Muslim religion has such 
impact.  What prior was a seemingly totally unjustified hate 
within the Muslim World, now today, because Israelis defend 
themselves, gains credibility amongst all Muslims, practicing or 
not practicing of the Muslim faith.  The hate is so prevelant, 
so overwhelming, all Muslims (seemingly anyway) hate Jews.  
Whereas the claim that all Jews hate all Muslims is just not 
so.  The difference being education.  It is a fact that the 
average Jew is greatly more educated compared to the average 
Middle Eastern Muslim (not the Westernized Muslim of which I 
include you amongst, or I would not attempt communication).  
Education does offer tolerance and understanding.  As 
represented by your statement you do not hate all Jews, only 
those Jews who perpetrate violence upon Palestinians.

You may believe the stories of attrocities committed against 
Palestinians at the hands of Jews.  Some may be based on fact, 
as always there are some individuals acting outside the 
collective group mentality.  It is the Western position that the 
attrocities are infrequent and no where near match up to the 
attrocities committed against Jews.  The most powerful argument 
being Israeli retalliation is state sponsored and most always in 
response to a prior Palestinian attack.  Whereas Palestinian 
attacks are mostly individuals belonging to independent terror 
groups bent on the annihilation of the Jews.  Arafat (with 
present little success) really is attempting to reduce the 
attacks on Jews.  A new position, as he now understands the 
price to be paid.

Our opinions will never match up, Ashraf.  But that does not 
matter.  Arafat may (no, he will) this time accept the 
compromise.  The world may not be rid of terrorists, but the 
price paid for terrorism is being raised so high, suicide 
bombings (and that is what a suicide bomber is, he is a 
terrorist) - will stop.  When that happens, Israeli retalliation 
will stop.  Israeli kills far outweigh Palestinian kills.  
Israeli's are more powerful.  When attacked they retalliate with 
insurmountable force.  As, Americans do.

If you and the Muslim World want to retain your hate.  Go right 
ahead.  The price for is going to be very high.  Either 
extinguish the hate or expect more terror groups from the Muslim 
World, equalling and creating more war and greater isolation 
from the Western World.  They cannot win a war against the west, 
and like it or not, the Israeli Jews are part of our Western

Hi Allatti, firstly yes, I also noticed the reverse spelling in 
one of 'Walters' most recent replies to you. When seeing the  
inconsistancy that I mentioned earlier, I speculated to myself 
when I first noticed it, that it might have occured from direct 
copying from English source material perhaps. Though the 
paragraph in question did sound like his own words....one could 
speculate endlessly. This person's identity has, I guess, become 
a secondary issue in comparison to his motivation and how badly 
that motivation manifested itself on this board.

Secondly, it is apparant that 'Walter' feels comfortable 
conversing with you and greatly values your acceptance. His post 
to you expressing his sentiments 'seemed' geniune and heartfelt 
yet sadly I personally hesitate to take those words at face 
value after all that has preceeded it. I've noticed, yet again, 
the use of material in my posts to attack other people. That of 
course in reference to my second to last posting. I didn't 
personaly feel you were striking a blow on my behalf, but 
obviously he did. He should know I'm quite capable of doing that 
myself should I so choose to.

Lastly, and most importantly, and this I, cannot stress enough 
Allatti, pass absolutely no judgement whatsoever on how you 
approach 'Walter'. He has 'issues', that's an understatement, 
and you may be interested and better placed to talk things out 
further with him, should you choose to. On the other hand he 
must accept many others have feelings ranging from deep mistrust 
to outright loathing towards him, and they may well continue to 
express those opinions in an open forum such as this.

Allatti2d, It's good to see so many posts from you today. Are 
you a psychiatrist? you sound well studied, at least. Nice of 
you to give Walter some slack, I think he was putting out a 
cry for help. Anyhow, Its funny to find out people's ages, I 
wonder how old all the other posters are. I just turned 24 
this month. I didn't realize I'd be on the younger end of the 
spectrum. 

Ashraf, I am curious if Qat is a legal drug in Arabia? I had 
read something about it before and, since I don't live there 
and have very limited knowledge of your culture, wonder 
what its place in society is. I have always wanted to visit the 
middle east because it is such a mysterious place. It's too 
bad there's not more fresh water there. I think that might 
solve a lot of problems. 

Anyway, I hope that most of us this Thanksgiving will take 
some time, in addition to being thankful, to help someone

for entertaining company. You certainly seem to laugh a lot, 
laughter is the best medicine, maybe that is why you had to

laugh. I still think its wrong to find that funny, but I also 
understand that you are a psycopath and that, in this twisted 
world, is alright. Thanks for the thanksgiving cease-fire. It 
would be a good time for everyone to reflect. I hope that our 
bombs don't hit any of the food trucks and that the Taliban 
will be completely crippled so they cannot stop us from 
helping the Afghan people this holiday season. I hope the

Bin Laden's film crew must have studied Schindler's List, 
because a five-minute orgy of Israelis brutalising women and 
children is like a replay of scenes from the liquidation of the 
Warsaw ghetto. In Spielberg's film, the camera panned to the 
body of a little girl in red; in this, the climax is the murder 
of Mohammed al-Durra. As in Schindler's List, children and women 
sing slowly and movingly.

And this is the point at which I burst into tears. I hardly 
realise that I have been visually and aurally manipulated until 
I study the clip in detail. In slow motion, and in time to the 
music, Israeli soldiers beat two women with sticks, until one 
falls to ground. The soldiers carry off screaming men, as if 
they are so much rubbish. Then, they strike a little boy with 
such force that he crumples to the ground. These images, and 
similar ones, are repeated over and over, until the violence 
seems unending.

But, hang on aren't these the same three incidents, shot from 
different angles? Bin Laden has simply cut up full-length "news" 
sequences and scattered them about, fooling me with the frenzied 
graphics and sound effects.

Throughout, he is screaming tearfully over the music: "Your 
sister goes to bed honourable and wakes up violated, raped by 
the Jews." As we see images of beatings for the umpteenth time, 
all he can do is wail - a curiously effective cry of impotence 
and grief.

Then comes Mohammed al-Durra. Cue: machine-gun fire. Diagonal 
lines rend the screen to reveal a father's stricken 
face. "Mohammed," intones a deep, robotic voice, as the image of 
Mohammed al-Durra, mouth open in terror, flashes before us. Cut 
to Israelis bombarding a building, on to which Osama has 
superimposed the pitiful image of the boy huddling against his 
father - an image flashed a dozen times during the two-minute 
duration of this scene.

Pictures appear of Clinton, of the King of Jordan and of the 
Saudi king presenting Clinton with a medal, only to be 
obliterated by that of the Palestinian boy. Suddenly, Mohammed 
splits into four smaller images, then nine, which cover the 
screen to imply that this murder is universal. The images surge 
forward faster and faster while a voice chants: "Mohammed, 
Mohammed," and bin Laden raises his voice: "Do not count, 
Mohammed, on Arabs, for they are no different than your 
assassins, the Jews."

Cut to the boy's lifeless body, held by his wounded father. The 
camera goes wild, repeatedly zooming in and retreating, as the 
father cries: "I have failed you, Mohammed; I have tried to 
protect you in vain. Four shots hit my child, who fell dead." 
Every parent's worst nightmare.

I wish I had never watched this film. I wish it weren't so good. 
I have never before woken up terrified every hour of the night, 
or felt such moral nausea. I feel invaded by a crazed man's 
violence and rage.

Fawaz Gerges, the scholar who has spent weeks translating the 
film, tells me that he can no longer sleep.

"Air campaign"? "Coalition forces"? "War on terror"? How much 
longer must we go on enduring these lies? There is 
no "campaign"   merely an air bombardment of the poorest and 
most broken country in the world by the world's richest and most 
sophisticated nation. No MiGs have taken to the skies to do 
battle with the American B-52s or F-18s. The only ammunition 
soaring into the air over Kabul comes from Russian anti-aircraft 
guns manufactured around 1943.

Coalition? Hands up who's seen the Luftwaffe in the skies over 
Kandahar, or the Italian air force or the French air force over 
Herat. Or even the Pakistani air force. The Americans are 
bombing Afghanistan with a few British missiles thrown 
in. "Coalition" indeed.

Then there's the "war on terror". When are we moving on to bomb 
the Jaffna peninsula? Or Chechnya   which we have already left 
in Vladimir Putin's bloody hands? I even seem to recall a 
massive terrorist car bomb that exploded in Beirut in 1985   
targeting Sayed Hassan Nasrallah, the spiritual inspiration to 
the Hezbollah, who now appears to be back on Washington's hit 
list   and which missed Nasrallah but slaughtered 85 innocent 
Lebanese civilians. Years later, Carl Bernstein revealed in his 
book, Veil, that the CIA was behind the bomb after the Saudis 
agreed to fund the operation. So will the US President George 
Bush be hunting down the CIA murderers involved? The hell he 
will.

So why on earth are all my chums on CNN and Sky and the BBC 
rabbiting on about the "air campaign", "coalition forces" and 
the "war on terror"? Do they think their viewers believe this 
twaddle?

Certainly Muslims don't. In fact, you don't have to spend long 
in Pakistan to realise that the Pakistani press gives an 
infinitely more truthful and balanced account of the "war"   
publishing work by local intellectuals, historians and 
opposition writers along with Taliban comments and pro-
government statements as well as syndicated Western analyses   
than The New York Times; and all this, remember, in a military 
dictatorship.

You only have to spend a few weeks in the Middle East and the 
subcontinent to realise why Tony Blair's interviews on al-
Jazeera and Larry King Live don't amount to a hill of beans. The 
Beirut daily As-Safir ran a widely-praised editorial asking why 
an Arab who wanted to express the anger and humiliation of 
millions of other Arabs was forced to do so from a cave in a non-
Arab country. The implication, of course, was that this   rather 
than the crimes against humanity on 11 September   was the 
reason for America's determination to liquidate Osama bin Laden. 
Far more persuasive has been a series of articles in the 
Pakistani press on the outrageous treatment of Muslims arrested 
in the United States in the aftermath of the September 
atrocities.

One such article should suffice. Headlined "Hate crime victim's 
diary", in The News of Lahore, it outlined the suffering of 
Hasnain Javed, who was arrested in Alabama on 19 September with
